What your notice should contain

• A description of your work that lets us recognise it.
• The link (URL) on this site under which the disputed material can be found.
• Your name and how we can write back: a postal address plus email or phone.
• Your sincere statement that, in good faith, you consider this use unapproved by you, your representative or any law.
• Your confirmation, under penalty of perjury, that nothing in the notice is false, and that ownership of the work lies with you or with the party you represent.
• Your signature, handwritten or electronic.

Hand all of it in through the Support form, topic "Copyright notice". Once a complete claim checks out, the material goes offline and you hear back from us about the outcome.

If we removed something of yours

If something of yours vanished after such a notice, object through that same form with a counter-notice. Tell us which item was removed and the address it had, declare under penalty of perjury that it was removed by error or mistaken for other material, add your name and address, and accept the jurisdiction of the federal court for your judicial district.
